The 2011-2012 Meat Share
EACH month you will receive:
* 4 - 1# packages of all natural ground beef
* 1 - 3# pot roast**
* 2 - 1# packages of bone in pork chops
* 1 - 1# package smoked bacon
* 1 - 4-4 ½ # whole pasture raised chicken
* 1 - 1# package ground pork
In addition to your monthly staples you will receive a supplementary portion each month
December – April as follows:
December – breakfasts for the holidays:
* 3 – 1# packages seasoned ground pork
* 1 smoked ham steak
* 1 – 4 pack of country sausage
January – soups and stews for the cold winter:
* 1 package meaty beef soup bones
* 1 package smoked ham shanks or pork hocks
* 1 – 1 ½ # package beef stew meat
February – slow cooking:
* 1 – 2# package beef short ribs
* 1 – 2# package top round steak
* 1 – 3# pork roast
March – Spring is coming:
* 1 package pork steak
* 1 package tenderized sirloin tip steak |
April – time to dig out the grill:
* 2 – 10-12oz grilling steaks
* 1 – sirloin steak
Finally, you will choose five items from the following list, also to be included when you choose:
* 2 packages tenderized round steak
* 1 – 3# fresh ham roast
* 1 package pork steak
* 1 – 2# package beef short ribs
* 1 – 3-4# package pork spare ribs
* 2 – 2-3# packages meaty beef soup bones
* 1 – 3# rump roast
* 2 – 1 ½ # packages stew meat
* 2 – 1-1 ½ # packages top round steak
* 1 – 2# bone in sirloin steak
* 1 – 4-4 ½ # whole chicken
* 2 packages smoked ham shanks or pork hocks
* 1 – 3# sirloin tip roast
* 3 – 1# packages beef or pork liver
